"This creature has a complex fate, but she finally comes unscrewed. She’s raw, synthetic and diffident. She’s afraid that she’s doing worse than she really can in the radiant emptiness full of stars, snowflakes and coloured smoke. She doesn’t need anything and wants nothing. Let's leave her alone".

This is quite an old project (about 10 years old), but I managed to find lost materials and here I am publishing the final results for fun.

It is based on some abstract dynamic/kinetic structure that was modelled and programmed (animation) in Maya using Python. Shading and rendering were done in 3ds Max with V-Ray for some reasons. All the rest was tweaked in Cinema 4D and collected in Adobe After Effects. We got such a layered technological cake and robotic jellyfish consisting of crystalline geometry at the output.

This work had no specific purposes, except for creative and experimental. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Thank you for watching!
